Utah FACES (Friends for Animal Care and Effective Solutions) is an all volunteer run nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Developed in early 2008, Utah FACES continues to provide much needed funding for the care and support of the thousands of animals that come to the Salt Lake County Animal Services shelter each year. All of the money raised by Utah FACES goes directly back to the shelter to support spay and neuter programs, microchips and vaccines and large equipment purchases, such as a digital x-ray machine.
Our Vision: Utah FACES sole purpose is to assist Salt Lake County Animal Services in its mission to better serve, protect, and reduce the number of animals that come into its facility. We strive to protect the safety and health of animals, promote the adoption of orphaned animals, improve the rescue of animals in situation of disaster or distress, and eliminate euthanasia.
Our Core Values:
Protect the safety and health of animals.
Promote the adoption of abandoned animals.
Promote the speedy return of lost pets.
Fund and promote the availability of Spay and Neuter services.
Provide education for Responsible Pet Ownership.
Support rescue efforts of animals in situations of disaster or distress.
Develop community partnerships.
